FLAT EARTH ACCORDING TO ELLEN WHITE

The mid to late 19th and early 20th centuries brought about great strides for God's remnant people. But along with this forward march, many challenges arose; one of these the theory that the earth
was flat rather than round. Today we once again see the emergence of this debate.
Ellen White saw early on that the flat vs. round earth controversy could have the potential to bring great problems and difficulties upon the church - something a young church did not need. A fracture of this young church would only set the work back, or worse yet, defeat the movement by sidelining the very important present truth message.
