OBJECTIONS TO TURKEY OR ISLAM BEING THE KING OF THE NORTH?

WHY TURKEY OR ISLAM IS NOT THE KING OF THE NORTH.
The view that Turkey is the King of the North is based wholly on a LITERAL interpretation of Daniel chapter  11. However, this can be shown to be a poor interpretation. In addition some who advocate Turkey actually prefer Islam as the King of the North which demonstrates the inconsistency of the literal view because Islam is not a LITERAL place, NORTH of LITERAL Jerusalem but an ideology which is global.
